INÉDI

Expertise and research in industrial design

Cégep de Lanaudière

Inedi banniere

INÉDI’s mission is to advance cultural design practices through applied research and technology transfer. In other terms, INÉDI fosters innovation and creativity in the development of products and the structure and processes of businesses.

INÉDI carries out applied research activities directly with companies. In the centre’s three specialized laboratories, and with the support of experts in research and industrial design, equipment is made available to the research and development teams at the design, prototyping and validation stages of their products.

The knowledge acquired is transferred to partner companies who can then support their promotion with scientific evidence.

INEDI's different axes are:

  1. Strategic design and design thinking  | l’Empreinte Québécoise
  2. Connected objects and virtuality | HoloDEC laboratory
  3. Human-object interaction | KINEDI laboratory
  4. Rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing | ProtoDEC laboratory
